FOODIE: Recipe Saver & Keeper

You saved 200 recipes on Instagram. You've cooked maybe three. FOODIE is a recipe app and AI cooking assistant that helps busy parents, meal preppers and students actually cook what they save — it pulls the recipe out of any link, photo or paper page, keeps it in a cookbook you can search, and turns the week's picks into one grocery list. Thursday comes, you have no idea what to cook, and the one you actually wanted is buried under a reel you don't remember saving. Saving was never the problem. Finding it again is. SAVE FROM ANYWHERE Share a link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or any website — FOODIE reads it and pulls out the recipe: ingredients, steps, quantities, cover photo. A food blog with nine paragraphs about Sicily before the ingredient list? You get the ingredient list. Nothing to copy, nothing to retype. SNAP THE PAPER ONES A cookbook page, a magazine clipping, grandma's index card. Take a photo and FOODIE turns it into a full digital recipe. Family recipes that were never online finally live next to everything else. KEEP IT FINDABLE Sort recipes into cookbooks you name yourself, or let FOODIE group them by mood — quick weeknight, comfort food, something worth showing off. Pin the two or three you're cooking this week and they wait on the home screen, so the saved folder stops being a pile. ASK THE AI CHEF Tell FOODIE Chef what's in the fridge and it cooks up ideas: swap an ingredient, simplify the steps, or write a new recipe from scratch. Dinner without a shop run. KNOW WHAT'S IN IT Every recipe comes with nutrition estimated from its ingredients: calories, protein, fat and carbs, per serving. Cooking for six instead of two? Change the servings and every quantity rescales — the nutrition follows. Nothing to look up, nothing to log by hand. PLAN THE WEEK, NOT JUST TONIGHT Build a weekly menu from recipes you already saved. That was the point of saving them. THE GROCERY LIST BUILDS ITSELF Add recipes to your plan and every ingredient lands on one list, grouped by aisle — produce with produce, dairy with dairy. One list, one lap around the store. COOK MODE, FLOUR-PROOF The screen stays awake and walks you through step by step in big type. Tap anywhere with a knuckle to move on — no scrolling, no losing your place. IN YOUR LANGUAGE FOODIE speaks seven languages — English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian and Ukrainian — and recipes translate automatically. Found the perfect dish in a language you don't read? Save it anyway. You'll cook it in yours. QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK Can it save recipes from Instagram, TikTok or YouTube? Yes — share the link and the ingredients, steps and photo come across. What about recipes on paper? Photograph the page and FOODIE turns it into a full digital recipe. Does it show calories? Every recipe comes with nutrition estimated from its ingredients, per serving. Can it plan meals and make the shopping list? Both, from the recipes you already saved. WHO IT'S FOR Busy parents, meal preppers, students — anyone whose saved folder became a graveyard and who wants the recipe, not the life story.
