Miles

——— MILES / 1966 More than a time. A record of the entire run. Miles is a straight-line acceleration logger built for safe, legal closed-course testing. From launch to finish, it brings timing, distance, top speed, a G-force trace and a minimal route outline together in one clean result card. No accounts, ads or social feed. Just your vehicle, your runs and the changes you want to compare. TIMING BETWEEN GPS UPDATES Phone GPS delivers discrete samples. The moment your vehicle reaches a target speed or distance often falls between two updates. Rather than simply recording the time of the next location update, Miles interpolates between samples to estimate when the target was crossed, reducing the timing granularity error of sample-only timing. Miles combines GPS and motion data and records an acceleration G-force trace, giving you more than a final number: a view of how the run unfolded. When GPS data quality is insufficient during a test, the result card includes a warning to help you interpret the result. Interpolation provides a finer estimate; it does not eliminate GPS, mounting or environmental errors. Miles is designed for comparisons under consistent conditions, not as certified measurement equipment. A RESULT CARD FOR EVERY RUN • Acceleration times, distance and top speed in one focused layout • A readable acceleration G-force trace • GPS tracks from new runs rendered as minimal route outlines, without a busy map background • Notes to preserve vehicle setup and test conditions • Save cards directly to Photos or send them through the share sheet Turn each run into something you can review, keep and compare. CHOOSE YOUR TEST • Standard mode: 0–100 km/h and 400 m • Short-distance mode: 0–60 km/h and 200 m • Metric and imperial display options • Car and motorcycle modes, with forward-direction calibration • English and Traditional Chinese interfaces, following your system language or your manual selection • Spoken cues for launch, milestone times and test status, reducing the need to look at the screen YOUR HISTORY, IN YOUR HANDS Results and route data are stored on your device. Optional backup to your private iCloud database lets you restore your history on another device signed in to the same Apple Account. One purchase. No subscription. BUILT FOR ENTHUSIASTS. SAFETY FIRST. Named in tribute to Ken Miles, and made for those who care about driving, riding and the machines behind every run. Use Miles only on closed courses or other legal, controlled environments. Mount and calibrate the phone before testing. Never interact with it while driving or riding.
