Cookie policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Strictly necessary

We set a Better Auth session cookie so you stay signed in, and an ah_consent cookie that stores your analytics choice for one year.

next-intl may set a locale cookie so language preference is remembered.

Anonymous visit counting (no consent needed)

We count page views ourselves, without cookies or localStorage. For each page view we store the page path, the website you came from, UTM tags in the link, your country (from the network edge), your browser, operating system and device type, and a code that changes every day.

The daily code is made from your IP address and browser details with a secret key. We never store the IP address or the raw browser string, and the stored codes cannot be linked to each other across days.

If you sign up within a day of arriving from a link, we may match your sign-up to that visit through the daily code to learn which link brought you. We do not do this if you rejected cookies.

Analytics (consent required)

After you accept, PostHog may set ph_* cookies and use localStorage to measure product usage, and Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to count visits and see which pages people read.

After you accept, we also store an ah_attr cookie for up to 90 days that records which link brought you here (for example instagram). If you reject or later withdraw consent, that cookie is deleted.

If you reject or later withdraw consent, we do not load PostHog or Google Analytics and we clear those cookies and localStorage keys when possible.

Error monitoring

Sentry helps us diagnose errors. It does not set cookies in the browser.
