MeloTube is a 5-lane rhythm game where the charts are made by players. Pick a song on YouTube, tap along to make your own chart, and share it with everyone. ■ PLAY • Browse community charts: New, Popular, Most Played, Favorites and your own. Search by chart, song or creator, and filter by genre. • Play the MeloTube Awards — charts hand-picked by the team and featured on the home screen. • Tap, hold, slide into the next lane and flick arrows in time with the music. Hit EXCELLENT to build your combo. • Every chart has its own leaderboard. Finish a chart in the top 10 and your score is posted automatically. • Race the ghost of any record on the leaderboard and see exactly where you won or lost. • Send reactions to creators whose charts you enjoyed. ■ BATTLE • Real-time 1-on-1 battles on the same chart. Watch the tug-of-war meter and your rival's combo as you play. • Pick a skill before the match — Attack (blind), Silent (mute) or Shake — charge it with your combo, and fire it when it hurts most. • Invite a friend or a recent rival for a rematch. ■ CREATE • Paste a YouTube link and tap the 5 lanes while the song plays. Your timing becomes the notes. • Fine-tune every note: timing, lane, holds, slides and flick arrows. Copy a section to repeat it, and test play before you publish. • Choose a scroll speed and genre, then publish your chart for everyone to play. Drafts are saved automatically. ■ LEVEL UP • Earn XP every time you play. Unlock more than 80 titles and show one next to your name on leaderboards. • Unlock note colors and stages as you level up. • Get notified about new songs and when someone beats your top-3 record. ■ GOOD TO KNOW • Music plays through the official YouTube embedded player. MeloTube never downloads or records audio. • No sign-up required. • Available in English, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese. • Report inappropriate charts and hide creators you don't want to see. • An internet connection is required. Videos that don't allow playback outside YouTube can't be used. • If the timing feels off, adjust Timing offset or switch Graphics to Lite in Settings.
