Urimal: Korean Word Game

Type a Korean word and you see how close it is in meaning to today's answer. 1000+ away, then 137, then 12, then 3 — then the word. It is not about right or wrong. The narrowing is the whole game. You will need a Korean keyboard: the answer is a Korean word, and so are your guesses. No hints. Not the letter count, not the first letter. A new word opens every day at 8 PM Korea time, and until then everyone is holding the same one. Today's ranking shows who is closing in right now. Everyone who solves it is 1st, no matter how many guesses it took — so an evening player can still take the top spot. Nobody else's words are ever shown. Five free tries. Spend them and one comes back every 15 minutes. Solve it and you get a result card. The word is never on the card, so share freely. Learning Korean? This is reading practice that does not feel like practice — you end up weighing what words actually mean against each other.
