// Track your app

Track Your App's Keyword Rankings in the App Store

Change your title, then watch your rank move. Every keyword you track is checked once a day, so you know what worked.

// WHAT IT IS

AppHitlist's Your Apps lets you add your own app and follow where it ranks in store search for the keywords you choose. Ranks update once a day, and a trend column shows which way each one is heading. AppHitlist also fetches your app's reviews, so complaints and feature requests sit next to your rank data in one place.

// WHAT YOU GET

What you can do once you can see the data

Prove a listing change worked

Change your subtitle or keyword field, then watch the rank and trend for each term over the following days. You compare before and after instead of guessing.

Catch a drop the next day

A keyword where your app falls outside the first 200 results is marked as not in the top 200. You spot the loss on the next daily check, not a month later.

Read your reviews in the same place

AppHitlist fetches your app's reviews, groups 1- and 2-star ones into complaint themes and lists feature requests. Rank problems and product problems sit side by side.

Feed your competitor view

The app you add becomes the base for Competitor Tracking. Your tracked keywords decide which keyword gaps AppHitlist can show against your rivals.

// HOW IT WORKS

From first search to a decision in three steps

  1. 01

    Add your app

    Open Your Apps and search by name, or paste a store link or app ID. AppHitlist then fetches the app's details and reviews.

  2. 02

    Add the keywords you care about

    Type a keyword and pick the country. A new keyword shows as checking soon until its first rank arrives.

  3. 03

    Check ranks, trends and reviews

    Open the app to see each keyword's rank, last check and trend. Jump to Reviews or Competitors from the same page.

// WHO IT IS FOR

Built for people who ship small apps and need to choose well

Solo developers with a live app

You ship alone and have no time for manual searches. A daily rank check tells you whether your last release helped.

Developers testing store listings

You rewrite your title or keywords every few weeks. A rank history per keyword shows which version won.

Studios with more than one app

You keep several apps live and want one place to see keyword ranks and reviews for each.

// GOOD TO KNOW

What to keep in mind before you rely on it

Your Apps is part of the paid plan, and each account has a cap on apps and on keywords per app. Ranks update once a day, so today's change shows up tomorrow, and anything past the first 200 results shows as not in the top 200. The rank is your position in App Store search, not in the charts. Reviews take a few minutes to arrive after you add an app. iOS App Store only.

Questions people ask before they start

How do I track my app's keyword rank?

Open Your Apps, add your app by name, store link or app ID, then add the keywords you care about. AppHitlist checks where the app ranks in search for each keyword and shows the rank, the last check time and a trend. Your Apps is part of the paid plan.

How often do my keyword ranks update?

Once a day. A keyword you just added shows as checking soon until its first result arrives. If your app is not among the first 200 results for a term, it shows as not in the top 200. A rank you saw yesterday can therefore differ from the one in Apple's search right now.

Can I track an app I do not own?

Your Apps is built for apps you own. To watch someone else's app, follow it and get email alerts when its rank, ads or revenue change. Or add it as a competitor to one of your apps and compare it with yours.

Does AppHitlist show my app's reviews and feature requests?

Yes. After you add an app, AppHitlist fetches its reviews, which usually takes a few minutes. It groups 1- and 2-star reviews into complaint themes and lists feature requests, so you see what users ask for next to how the app ranks.
